118 and a Pair of Wins
The Golden Eagles have done the unthinkable in the early season as they continue to shoot lights out with two games over 100 points this past week, including 118, the most scored since 2016 at UM-Dearborn. CU has shot over 50% in four of their first five games and shot a season high 65.3% at UM-Dearborn, which is just seven percentage points away from the program record set back in 1987 for field goal %. Cornerstone comes into the week 4-1, 2-0 WHAC as they host Madonna and Lourdes.

Pack the House
Cornerstone will host the first ever Pack the House event on Wednesday, November 19 with the wrestling and women's basketball programs. The goal of the event is to pack out the gym with fun events and have sponsors and fans buy t-shirts through a partnership with Friendship Sports International (FSI) to raise funds to make meals for those in need through in Ukraine. FSI and Cornerstone are partnering with the International Disaster Relief Service (IDES) to purchase meals that will be sent to Cornerstone for the program's and university to pack together that will later be sent to those in need in Ukraine. Activities begin at 5:30 p.m. with the men's game at 7:30 p.m.

Carter Nyp WHAC Player of the Week
Fifth-year senior Carter Nyp earned his first WHAC Player of the Week honor after leading CU with 21 at UM-Dearborn and 27 at UNOH and shooting 68.9% from the field. This is Nyp's first WHAC Player of the Week honor in his career.

Scouting Madonna
The receiving votes Crusaders have been an offensive juggernaut yet again in 2022-23 as they are averaging 95.2 points per game and over 50% from the field through four games. They have gone 3-1, 1-1 WHAC with their lone loss to (25) Indiana Tech so far this season. Madonna is loaded with fifth-year or higher senior talent as familiar names such as Deric Murray (AQ transfer), Mark Mettie, and Henry Speight are all leading MU. That senior trio is leading the team in scoring, while sophomore Ethan Emerzian leads the team with 3.8 assists per game and 2.8 steals per game.

Scouting Lourdes
Ohio State legend and now Gray Wolves Head Coach Dennis Hopson leads a veteran Lourdes roster into Saturday with a 3-1, 1-1 WHAC record. The lone loss coming at Concordia with just 41 total points. Lourdes sees the return of Clif Snow who was an All-WHAC player that transferred out and has now returned back in the lineup in 2022-23. Lourdes has always been outstanding on the defensive end, as they have allowed just 64.8 PPG to opponents so far this season. Offensively, seniors Jackie Harris (15.0 PPG) and Little Anderson (12.3 PPG) are leading the way.

History vs. Opponents
These two teams are two of the few that have gotten the better of Head Coach Kim Elders of late as CU holds a 1-7 record in their last eight matchups with Madonna and a 4-2 record in their last six with Lourdes.
