GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – Women's volleyball made history this past Saturday as they joined the 2019 Lawrence Tech team as the second team ever to go a perfect 20-0 in the regular season WHAC play. With being perfect, Cornerstone will now host every WHAC Tournament game at home as they look to complete the season sweep of regular season conference champions and tournament champions. The Golden Eagles will open the first round of the WHAC Tournament against Concordia on Wednesday, November 9 at 7 p.m.

WHAC Tournament
Cornerstone wrapped up the season going a perfect 20-0, marking the second time ever a team has done this in the WHAC. Siena Heights finished in second going 18-2 with their only losses coming against Cornerstone and Indiana Tech finished third going 14-6 in conference play.
If Cornerstone wins against Concordia on Wednesday, they will play the winner of UM-Dearborn vs. Madonna. They will host one of these teams on Friday, November 11 and if they win that game, they will play in the championship game on Saturday, November 12.
Player Spotlights
Cornerstone celebrated the careers of their four key seniors in
Kaylee Dykema,
Olivia Keelean,
Patsy Morris, and
Rylie Walters this past Saturday. The seniors led the way in the victory over UM-Dearborn. Dykema led the way with kills as she had 15, Keelean had 12, and Walters had 10 while Morris did her thing with another strong performance of 25 digs. Sophomore
Aubrey Lenz has been great all season as she totaled another game of 40+ assists while sophomore counter parts
Kylie Barron and
Kathryn Detweiler have been solid in attacking and their defense. They will be looking to continue their strong play in the WHAC Tournament looking to bring home the WHAC Tournament Championship.
