GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – The Cornerstone men's soccer team is set to play two games in Grand Rapids this week as they host Grace Christian on Wednesday, September 14 at 4 p.m.  and then travel down the road to Calvin University on Saturday, September 17 at 7 p.m. The Golden Eagles will look to continue off their great start to the season.

Scouting Grace Christian
Grace Christian comes into this match at 1-1-2 coming off their first win of the season against Manchester University. Ethan Dewitt leads the Tigers in goals scoring both in the first game of the season for Grace. This will be the first time these two teams have matched up to play against one another since October of 2007. Cornerstone holds the all-time head-to-head matchup as 30-5-1 in 36 games played against one another.
 
Scouting Calvin
Calvin University has found early success to begin the 2022 campaign as they are 4-0-1 coming into this week. Christopher Schau leads the Knights in goals to start the season with three, as three others are right behind him with two goals scored on the season. Calvin has had Cornerstone's number in the prior matchups as Calvin beat Cornerstone last year by a score of 5-1. Cornerstone will be looking to even the score this time around.
