GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – The Golden Eagles last week did not lose a match as they went 1-0-1, beating Grace Christian and tying with a tough NCAA DIII opponent in Calvin University. Still off to a great to start to their season, this upcoming week does not get any easier as they travel to NAIA Top 25 opponent in Bethel University and start conference play with an away game at Lourdes University

Junior Laun Bressy leads the team with nine goals on the season and scoring six goals in the last five games played. There is a long-standing history between these two schools, and this will be the first time they have played one-another since 2019. Bethel has won the last four matchups dating back to 2003.

Lourdes comes into this matchup with a record of 2-4-1 and winning their last two games. Anthony Samuel leads the Gray Wolves in goals with three on the season. Lourdes won the matchup in Grand Rapids last season by a score of 3-2 to tie the series matchup at 4-4.
