BATTLE CREEK, Mich. – The Golden Eagles took on the cold, wind, and rain for the first time in 2022-23 and shot a solid 318 as a team to sit in seventh after the first round of 18 at Bedford Valley Golf Course. Isaiah Lowe leads the team with a 75 to sit tied for fifth in individual play, as the second round of 18 served as match play where the teams were seeded based on their finish in the round of 18. Sitting tied for seventh, Cornerstone took on Indiana Tech who finished with a 312 to tie for fifth in the first match play round. The Golden Eagles fell 3-2 in match play against the Warriors of Indiana Tech putting them in match play tomorrow with Cleary in a battle for seventh place in the event.

Jonny Strube – 81 (32^nd) 
Nathan Blumenstock – 83 (43^rd)
Drew Schutz – 86 (52^nd) 

Men's Results Match Play:
One Seed: Isaiah Lowe lost one down through 18
Two Seed: Logan Melcher lost 3&2
Three Seed: Jonny Strube lost 6&5
Four Seed: Nathan Blumenstock won via withdrawl 
Five Seed: Drew Shultz won 4&3
