GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – The Cornerstone men's soccer has one game this week as they travel to Chicago to play Saint Xavier University on Tuesday September 6 at 8 p.m. EST. The Golden Eagles have gotten off to their best start since 2008 and are looking to continue to build off that with this coming game.

Chana Batan. Marking the first time the Golden Eagles had scored six goals in a game since 2015.
The Goalies
The Golden Eagles goalies of
Ethan Pike and
Roberto Gutierrez has not allowed a goal through three games this season. Coming off WHAC Defender of the Week,
Ethan Pike continued his great start in goal not letting up anything in the first 45 minutes against Olivet.
Roberto Gutierrez continued that streak as he played the final 45 against Olivet following in the shoes of Senior Ethan.
Scouting Saint Xavier
The Saint Xavier Cougars have gotten off to a tough start, as they are sitting at 1-3 coming into Tuesday night's game. The Cougars have only three goals on the season and two of them are off the foot of Dorian Mahone. This will be the first time Cornerstone travels to Saint Xavier since 2019, looking to beat them for the second time in program history.
