Voloch records his 1000th career assist in reverse sweep loss to rival Aquinas

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – Sophomore setter Patrick Voloch achieved a major milestone on Tuesday night with his 1000th career assist after 56 in a wild back-and-forth match with rival Aquinas. CU took the first two sets and looked like they would cruise to victory, but (14) Aquinas responded to win three straight and complete the reverse sweep. The Golden Eagles drop to 3-1 on the year and 2-1 in WHAC play with the loss. Non-conference play will continue at the Judson Tournament this weekend as they start on Friday against Roosevelt and Maranatha Baptist College.
