MOUNT BERRY, Ga. - Junior Ximena Matamoros after winning her ITA Regional in singles competition traveled to Georgia to compete in the ITA National Competition. She opened play in the round of 16 today and fell to Victoria Vieten out of William Carey University 6-2, 6-1. Matamoros has been eliminated from singles draw competition and finishes as one of the top 16 NAIA singles players in the fall of 2023. 

The 2023 portion of the season has officially concluded for all Golden Eagle tennis athletes now and CU will be back in action in the spring for more non-conference action along with WHAC play.
