GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - The Golden Eagles have an important week ahead as they hit the road for three matches with two of the teams atop of the conference standings. Women's Volleyball first travels down the road to rival Aquinas on Wednesday, October 18 before they hit the long road trip to UNOH on Friday, October 20 before ending their road trip against (RV) Indiana Tech on Saturday, October 21. Cornerstone is currently sitting in seventh place in the WHAC standings with an overall record of 11-12 (6-7) looking to upset either Aquinas or Indiana Tech.

Last Week Recap
The Golden Eagles had a tough week last week going 1-2. They fell to Lawrence Tech in five sets to start the week before falling to Siena Heights in three sets. Cornerstone would finish their week on a high note with a sweep over Lourdes to move them to 11-12 (6-7) on the season where they currently sit in seventh place. Senior

Scouting Aquinas
Aquinas comes into the match against the Golden Eagles with an overall record of 23-4 (11-1) where they sit a half game behind Indiana Tech in the conference. Aquinas got the best of Cornerstone in the first matchup of the year winning in straight sets in the Mol Arena. Abbi Perkins leads the way for the Saints with 287 kills on the year while setter Lydia Harper has 842 assits on the season.Â
Scouting UNOH
UNOH comes into the week with a record of 10-15 (3-10) on the season. It has been a tough conference year for the Racers as they sit 10th place outside the top eight teams who make the conference tournament. The Racers are led by Logan Thomas who has 281 kills on the season with setter Savanna Reed having 654 assists.Â
Scouting (RV) Indiana Tech
Indiana Tech, the best team in the conference comes into the week at 22-3 (12-1) on the season sitting atop of the WHAC standings. The Warriors have had little to no off games as Cornerstone gave them a run for their money in the first matchup of the year with Indiana Tech escaping Cornerstone in five sets. The Warriors are led by Noelle Vanoort who has 334 kills on the season with the setter Andrea Schriver having 967 assists.Â
