Last Week Recap
It was an impressive week for men's soccer as they went 1-0-1 with a shutout victory over (RV) Lawrence Tech with goals scored by Tyler Corstange and Jake Madak in the victory. Then Cornerstone would tie against Madonna 1-1 later that week for a four-point week going against the top teams in the conference. Goalie Roberto Gutierrez was named WHAC Defender of the Week for his play in goal just allowing one goal going 1-0-1.

WHAC Outlook
It's the last week of the regular season as the conference tournament is starting to shape up with what would look like last minute adds and subtractions for the conference. It's a close one at the top with Aquinas leading the way with 22 points with Indiana Tech at 21 and Madonna at 20 for the top three spots. There is a three-way race for the final spot for the tournament between Siena Heights, Cleary, and Cornerstone. Siena Heights holds the tiebreaker over Cornerstone with Cornerstone holding it over Cleary. This final week will determine a lot for the tournament.

Looking at Rochester
Rochester comes into the matchup against the Golden Eagles sitting 11th in the conference with an overall record of 4-8-2 (2-6-1), a point behind the last spot for the conference tournament. There are coming off a 3-1 victory over Concordia this past weekend. Rochester seems to be a very chippy team as they are ranked 9th in the nation with getting red cards at 5 total this year. The Warriors are led by Senior Dmitar Stankovic who has six goals on the season.

Looking at Concordia
Concordia comes into the matchup against Cornerstone at 1-11-4 (0-6-3) with a game against UNOH earlier in the week. It hasn't been a season that the Cardinals have wanted as they are the bottom team in the conference but could play spoiler this week against UNOH and Cornerstone. The Cardinals are led by Senior Bryce Schaner who has five goals on the season.
