Senior Recognition
Prior to the start of the Golden Eagle men's soccer contest vs. Indiana Tech, CU will honor their varsity and reserve seniors as part of Homecoming and Family Weekend. There will be one varsity player who will be honored in senior defender Caleb Griffith along with a multitude of JV athletes. Be sure to come out and support the senior class for their efforts on and off the pitch.

Around the WHAC
The WHAC has seen no direct standouts in the early conference season, with no team sitting at a perfect 3-0. Lawrence Tech and Siena Heights sit atop the table at 2-0-1 with usual front-runners Indiana Tech, Madonna, and UNOH all sitting 2-1-0 or 1-0-2. Cornerstone is 1-2-0 and sits in ninth right now in WHAC play.

Scouting UM-Dearborn
UM-Dearborn has lost five in a row and gone 1-6-1, 0-3-0 WHAC on the year in 2023. They have not been able to find much offense, averaging 0.88 goals per game through eight contests. Only playing in two road games so far this year, UM-D looks to earn their first victory away from home at Cornerstone.

Scouting Indiana Tech
The Warriors who started the year as an NAIA Top 25 team have gotten off to a slow start by their standards with a 2-3-4, 1-0-2 WHAC record. Their struggles primarily come on the road as they have gone 0-3-1 in road contests. IIT played an incredibly tough non-conference schedule against three ranked opponents, but the struggles have translated to conference play. IIT has found the net 15 times, but they have also allowed 15 goals and dropped out of the NAIA Top 25 since the beginning of the year. Senior Lucca Motta is the team leader, and he has tallied five of the 15 goals along with one assist.
