Pure Michigan Night
Cornerstone athletics will be putting on a halftime game for the students for a pure Michigan I hate Ohio night. Fans are encouraged to wear their best pure Michigan gear in preparation for the big Ohio State vs. Michigan game on Saturday, November 25. Students are encouraged to come out and support CU for both the women's and men's games taking place at 1 and 3 p.m.

Last Time Out
Cornerstone last played a week ago at IU-South Bend and after trailing for much of the game, was able to pull out a 75-69 road victory against the receiving votes opponent. CU was led offensively by Luke Rowlinson's 22 and Cory Ainsworth's 21 and saw a huge day from Jack Joldersma on the glass with 11 rebounds. The Golden Eagles outscored IU-South Bend by 11 in the second half to overcome a five-point halftime deficit.

Three Ball
Cornerstone has been dominant in the early season behind the arc, ranking 14th in the NAIA at 42.4% from deep. CU has a multitude of players that can shoot from deep as well, as eight different players have hit at least one this season. Four players already have seven or more three's this season, two of those being players who come off the bench. The Golden Eagles also have six of those eight players who have hit a three, shooting above 40% from behind the arc.

History vs. UNOH
Cornerstone has been dominant against UNOH of late, winning 16 of the last 18 games against the Racers. The only losses CU has seen had the Golden Eagles score under 70 points, while 15 of the last 16 wins against them CU has scored over 70 points. All-time, Cornerstone has gone 24-4 against Northwestern Ohio.

Scouting the Racers
UNOH comes into 2023-24 with a brand-new look under first year Head Coach Richard Westerlund. Through five games, the Racers have gone 1-4 and have struggled to find the bucket shooting 39.6% from the field and 29.1% from deep. The lone win came against Oakland City on November 11 as they won 73-69. Northwestern Ohio is led by Ryan Archey who scores 19.0 PPG and 4.6 RPG.
