Three Times
The Golden Eagles have been one of the best in the WHAC at not allowing a team to beat them three times in a season, with the only time that has happened in the last decade was in 2019 when Madonna won the season series and the WHAC Tournament match against the Golden Eagles. Cornerstone is at risk of that happening for the first time in four years if Aquinas can beat them in the WHAC Tournament Quarterfinal on Wednesday.

WHAC Champs Balance
The WHAC has seen a variety of champions in recent years, having five different programs win the regular season title in the last six seasons. Cornerstone is the only team to have multiple regular season titles, winning in 2022 and 2020. The WHAC has not seen a repeat champion since 2015-16, when Lourdes won the title two seasons in a row, sharing it with the Golden Eagles in 2016.

WHAC Tournament Outlook
The WHAC Tournament will see the quarterfinals at all higher seed host sites with Indiana Tech hosting the semifinal and final this weekend. The top seeded Warriors will host Concordia in the quarterfinals, three seed Siena Heights will host Lawrence Tech, and four seed Madonna will host UM-Dearborn in the other quarterfinal matchups around the league.

Tournament Success
Head Coach Megan Lenhart and the Golden Eagles have had historic success in the conference tournament, winning four of the last six titles. Prior to 2017, Cornerstone had not won a WHAC Tournament Title in 14 years. Since Head Coach Megan Lenhart took over in the 2019 season, Cornerstone has gone 7-2 in WHAC Tournament contests.

Lenz 1k
Junior setter Aubrey Lenz has now surpassed 1000 assists in all three seasons as a Golden Eagle. She has tallied 1029 assists so far in 2023 and now has 3,699 in her career.
