JACKISON, Mich. – The Golden Eagle women's bowling program finished 10
th out of 17 teams with a total score of 5893 pins while the men finished 11
th of 21 with a score of 6575 at the Alma Scotty Classic. Cornerstone looks to carry momentum into the WHAC Championships for their next event on February 25.
Men's Results:
Nicholas Slagter had the strongest day for the Golden Eagles finishing 22
nd individually with a score of 777 in four games bowled with a game high 237 in his third contest.
Hunter Haldaman also joined the top 50 with a 36
th place finish individually. Haldaman recorded 747 pins also recording one game above 200 pins.
Women's Results:
Lauren Lovett led the way for the women with a top 10 finish individually. She was red hot and recorded a score of 756 with two games bowled over 200.
Harlee Burrows finished 35
th overall. She was consistent in all four games to knock down 697 pins overall and join the top 50.
Nicole Will was the last Golden Eagle in the top 50 finishing just a few spots behind burrows with a 38
th place finish. She had an outstanding game three of 197 to record 693 pins for the top 50.
What's Next?
Cornerstone will next compete in the WHAC Championships on Saturday, February 25 at 10 a.m.
