GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – The Golden Eagles and Saints battled out a physical game that would eventually end in a 0-0 draw. Siena Heights had a lot more opportunities than the Golden Eagles in this game as they had a few shots that they wish they would have back in this draw and same with Cornerstone. With that draw, Cornerstone is now 4-2-1 on the season as they will travel to Cleary on Saturday, September 30 for a 4 p.m. match.

First Half
- Cornerstone caught a break in the 2nd minute as the Saints had a wide-open net and the header sails high over the goal.
- After a Cornerstone foul, the Saints sent a ball in the box and the deflected shot sailed just wide left in the 13th minute for the second shot of the game.
- That's the second break the Golden Eagles have had in this game as a shot by the Saints in the 21st minute hit the right post after the keeper came out of the goal.
- The Saints had a corner kick in the 31st minute and the header went past the keeper but found the head of a Cornerstone defender for the defensive save. The game remains 0-0.
- Siena Heights had three straight corner attempts in the 39th minute as the Golden Eagles won all three as the Saints missed out on those opportunities.
- It has been a very one-sided affair with Siena Heights controlling the possession of the ball for the majority of the first half as it headed into halftime 0-0.
Second Half
- Cornerstone came out aggressive in the second half as 16 seconds into the half, Gracie Gortmaker's shot hit the crossbar for the first real opportunity of the game for the Golden Eagles.
- It has been a quiet second half for both teams as it remains tied through 60 minutes of action.
- Cornerstone had a corner kick opportunity in the 62nd minute but the Saints stopped any opportunity that the Golden Eagles may have.
- Saints had a great opportunity in the 72nd minute with a rocket shot that found the gloves of Morgan Scholten to keep the game tied 0-0.
- Morgan Scholten had another great save in the 76th minute off the foot of the Saints forward.
- After dribbling through a few defenders, the shot by Amber Nicholson sails just high and right in the 80th minute.
- Siena Heights made one last effort to score in the 87th minute but did not as the match ends in a 0-0 draw.
