DEARBORN, Mich. – Women's Basketball hit the road to face off against Michigan-Dearborn and got back into the win column with a 69-48 victory. The Golden Eagles opened the game on a 16-3 run and never looked back as they had 10+ point lead all game. Cornerstone held UM-Dearborn to 34% shooting from the field while they shot 50%. Women's Basketball was led by
Stephanie Ainsworth who had a team high 15 points, as Cornerstone is now 11-9 (9-6) on the season as they return home to face off against Concordia on Saturday, February 3.

- First Quarter
- The Golden Eagles opened the game on a 4-0 run thanks to baskets from Jaylee Long.
- Cornerstone extended their lead to 10-3 after a jumper from Olivia Kubik.
- It continues to be all Cornerstone in the first quarter as back-to-back layups from Stephanie Ainsworth and Emma Costen make it a 16-3 game.
- Gracie Gortmaker makes a layup right before the buzzer as the Golden Eagles lead 20-7 after the first quarter.
- Second Quarter
- Maddison Fulks makes a pair of free throws to end the UM-Dearborn run as Cornerstone continues to lead 24-11.
- Cornerstones uses a 7-0 run to extend their lead 31-13, highlighted by a Jaxi Long three.
- Jaxi Long makes two more threes for the Golden Eagles as they see their lead increase to 37-15 right before halftime.
- Cornerstone heads into halftime, winning 37-19.
- Third Quarter
- Women's Basketball got it going early in the third quarter with layups from Olivia Kubik and Maddison Fulks.
- UM-Dearborn has gone on a 9-2 run to chip into the Golden Eagle lead, 43-28 with 4:19 to go in the third.
- Cornerstone responded with a 7-3 run of their own, highlighted by a Maddison Fulks three to make it 50-31.
- Another big run by the Golden Eagles makes it 58-31, this time it was highlighted by a Stephanie Ainsworth and Olivia Kubik made three.
- Michigan-Dearborn ends the quarter making two threes. Cornerstone heads into the final quarter leading 58-37.
- Fourth Quarter
- Jaylee Long makes a three pointer and Mackenzie Stien follows that up with a nice jumper to get the scoring started for the Golden Eagles in the fourth.
- Abi Bandstra scores a layup as the Golden Eagles empty their bench as they lead 67-48 with three-minutes to go.
- The Golden Eagles get back into the win column with a 69-48 victory over UM-Dearborn.
