The Golden Eagles open play against Concordia on Friday, October 18 before ending the weekend with a match against Siena Heights on Saturday, October 19. Women's Volleyball currently sits with a record of 14-8 (6-4) on the year.

The Golden Eagles had two conference matches last week and came away with two victories. Women's Volleyball opened the week with a five-set victory over Michigan-Dearborn in which
Aubrey Johnson and
Kylie Barron led the way with 18 and 17 kills. They would then end the week with a 3-1 victory over Rochester Christian behind
Aubrey Johnson's career high 22 kills and
Aubrey Lenz's 51 assists. The Aubrey duo of
Aubrey Johnson and
Aubrey Lenz would go on to earn WHAC Player of the Week honors for their play in those two matches.
A look at the WHAC
With eight conference matches remaining on the year, this where the WHAC stands. Aquinas leads the way with a 10-0 record with Indiana Tech right behind them at 9-1. Siena Heights and Lawrence Tech are tied for third with overall records of 8-2 with the Golden Eagles sitting alone in fifth at 6-4. This year, the top 10 teams make the conference tournament with the first round being a play-in between the 7-10 seeds.
Scouting Concordia
Concordia comes into the matchup against the Golden Eagles with an overall record of 10-11 (5-5). The Cardinals have lost three of their last four matches as they are coming off a 3-0 sweep of Lourdes. Concordia is one match behind the Golden Eagles in the WHAC standings. They are led by Claudia Grepke and Breann June who has 219 and 208 kills on the year. Cornerstone is hosting a poster night against Concordia, after the match, get a signed poster from the women's volleyball players!
Scouting Siena Heights
Siena Heights comes into the matchup against the Golden Eagles with an overall record of 15-4 (8-2) as they have a matchup against Aquinas to open the week. Siena Heights has found a nice groove of late, winning their last six matches all by sweeps. Their two conference losses on the year have come against Michigan-Dearborn and Indiana Tech. They are led by Devyne Eisenhauer and her 228 kills while being set by Aubrey Bates.
