GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – Men's Basketball returned to action for the first time after Christmas and came away with a big 101-66 victory over Grace Christian. It was the best Christmas present Coach E could ask for as the Golden Eagles shot 56.3% for the game with four different players in double-figures. Grace Christian was held to 38.2% shooting for the day as Cornerstone moves to 9-4 on the year. Men's Basketball is back in action on Monday, December 30 as they travel to #10 Bethel for their final nonconference game of the year, starting at 3 p.m.

First Half: Cornerstone – 49 Grace Christian - 27
- Blake Stewart opened the offense with four of the first six points to give the Golden Eagles a 6-3 lead through the first two-minutes.
- Luke Rowlinson hits a wing three, but Grace Christian responded with a layup right away as the Golden Eagles continued to lead 11-9.
- The offense of both teams continued to score at will as a layup from Toby Woolcock made it 21-16 after the first 10-minutes of the first half.
- Kayden Bird sparks a Golden Eagle 12-0 run with back-to-back threes to help Cornerstone extend their lead 33-18.
- Luke Rowlinson helped started another Golden Eagle run with five straight points as Cornerstone has extended their lead 42-24 as two-minutes remain.
- The Golden Eagles closed out the half hot as a Luke Rowlinson three saw them lead 49-27 as the halftime buzzer sounds.
Second Half: Cornerstone – 101 Grace Christian – 66
- It was a quick start for the Golden Eagles in the second half as through the first two-minutes, Cornerstone has extended their lead to 59-31.
- Jack Joldersma and Blake Stewart continued to find easy baskets around the rim as their points helped make it a 66-36 advantage.
- Another Blake Stewart layup and some free throws from Andy Mora sees Cornerstone make it a 78-44 advantage as nine-minutes remain in the game.
- The subs come in for the Golden Eagles as they lead 89-53 as six minutes remain on the clock.
- Sam Koetsier and Myles Steffen got into the action with baskets as the Golden Eagles continued to lead big late.
- Couple more baskets from Myles Steffen and Tre Seydel seals the victory for the Golden Eagles as they come back from Christmas with a 101-66 gift to Coach E.
