It is the final two home games of the regular season for the Golden Eagles as they start their week facing off against Cleary on Wednesday, February 14. They will then welcome Lawrence Tech for senior night on Saturday, February 17. Men's Basketball currently sits at 17-7 (13-5) with two weeks to go.

Last Week Recap
Men's Basketball succeeded again in winning both of their games last week. Cornerstone opened the week with an upset victory over #7 Lourdes 89-75 behind four players in double figures in a dominant win. They would then return home to face off against Siena Heights and came away with another big win, 89-70 behind
Luke Rowlinson's 27 points. The Golden Eagles will look to extend their win streak this week with games against Cleary and Lawrence Tech.
WHAC Outlook
There are two weeks remaining in the regular season and anything can happen. Cornerstone currently sits alone in third place with a one game lead over Lawrence Tech and two games behind Lourdes for the second spot. Madonna beat Lourdes over the weekend and now holds sole position of first place in the WHAC.
Senior Night
This Saturday, February 17 is men's basketball and cheerleading's senior day. Men's Basketball will be highlighting two seniors,
Cory Ainsworth and
Luke Vanderwerff for their time as a Golden Eagle. Come celebrate the seniors and cheer on men's basketball as they take on Lawrence Tech.
Looking at Cleary
Cleary comes into the matchup against the Golden Eagles with an overall record of 2-21 (2-16) in their first year of competition. They are coming off their second win of the season against Concordia 63-62, sweeping their season series. Cornerstone got the best of Cleary in the first matchup of the year 73-40, thanks to a 29-0 start to the game.
Cory Ainsworth led the way with 20 points as well. Cleary is led by Chris Williams who is averaging 10.3 points on 44.7% shooting.
Looking at Lawrence Tech
Lawrence Tech comes into the matchup against the Golden Eagles with an overall record of 16-8 (12-6) with a matchup against #7 Lourdes to open the week. Lawrence Tech has played spoiler a lot this season, beating most of the top teams in the conference with wins against Rochester and Indiana Tech in their past three games. Lawrence Tech is also Cornerstone's one loss in their last 13 games as they beat the Golden Eagles 80-73 behind a strong second half. The Blue Devils are led by reigning WHAC and NAIA Player of the Week Brandon Beavers who is averaging 20.2 points, 8.3 rebounds, and 5.1 assists per-game on 51% shooting from the field.
