SYLVANIA, Ohio – On National Girls and Women in sports day, women's basketball traveled to Lourdes for a 7:30 p.m. start time and came out with a 73-55 loss. It was a slow start for the Golden Eagles as they found themselves down big to start to the game. The offense really never got going for Cornerstone as they shot 34% for the game behind
Olivia Kubik's 14 points.
Stephanie Ainsworth recorded another double-double with 12 points and 11 rebounds, making that her eighth on the year. Women's Basketball falls to 12-10 (10-7) as they take on #RV Siena Heights on Saturday, February 10 starting at 1 p.m.

- It was a slow start to the game as Lourdes gets the scoring started with free throws, two-minutes into the first quarter.
- Lourdes has continued to score after the slow start as they lead 9-0 after the first five-minutes of the game.
- Jaylee Long scores the first points of the game for Cornerstone with a layup to make it 9-2.
- It has not been the start that Cornerstone has hoped for as a three from Lourdes puts them up 14-2 with three-minutes to go.
- Lourdes heads into the second quarter with a 16-6 lead over the Golden Eagles.
- Second Quarter
- Stephanie Ainsworth and Olivia Kubik got the scoring started in the second quarter for the Golden Eagles with layups to make it 18-10.
- Cornerstone has used a 6-0 run to cut Lourdes lead to 20-16 after an Olivia Kubik jumper.
- Lourdes would answer right back with a 6-0 run of their own to reextend their lead to 10, 26-16 with 5:45 to go in the second.
- Gracie Gortmaker makes the layup and Mackenzie Stien makes a pair of free throws as Lourdes continues to lead 30-23.
- Lourdes heads into halftime with a 33-27 advantage over the Golden Eagles.
- Third Quarter
- Stephanie Ainsworth scores back-to-back layups and makes a free throw to score five-straight for Cornerstone as Lourdes leads 35-32.
- Cornerstone has not scored in the last three-minutes as Lourdes has used a 7-0 run to make it a 42-32 game with five-minutes remaining in the third.
- Jaxi Long has scored four straight points for the Golden Eagles as Lourdes calls a timeout leading 46-38.
- Cornerstone has scored six straight points out of the timeout to make it a two-point game, 46-44. Jaxi Long, Laura Innerebner, and Mackenzie Stien had baskets for the Golden Eagles.
- Lourdes heads into the fourth quarter with a 48-44 lead after making a pair of free throws.
- Fourth Quarter
- Mackenzie Stien drives and makes the left-handed layup to get the scoring started for the Golden Eagles in the fourth.
- Lourdes would answer going on a 6-0 run to extend their lead 54-46 with 7:43 remaining in the fourth.
- The Gray Wolves started to pull away in the fourth as a turnover leads to a fast break layup to make it 58-46.
- Stephanie Ainsworth and Maddison Fulks make back-to-back baskets for the Golden Eagles, but Lourdes is leading big 71-52 with two-minutes to go in the fourth.
- Lourdes gets the victory over Cornerstone 73-55.
