Voloch hits a milestone as Men's Volleyball sweeps Mount Vernon

OUNT VERNON, Ohio. – The (RV) Golden Eagles (19-4) faced up against fourth in the WHAC (RV) Mount Vernon Nazarene University (14-8) within the Ariel Arena in Mount Vernon, Ohio. Ernest Broaster highlighted set one with 7 kills of his own. The Golden Eagles won set one 25-21. Set two was a David Galanes show as he recorded 9 kills in set two, which saw Cornerstone take the set 25-21. A 6-0 run from the Golden Eagles was what set them apart from the Cougars in set three, as Cornerstone won 25-20, and swept Mount Vernon Nazarene inside the Cougars' own arena. Up next for Cornerstone University, the Golden Eagles will end the weekend before WHAC tournament play against the (RV) Mount Vernon Cougars for the second time in one weekend, Saturday April 13, at 3 p.m.
