FORT WAYNE, Ind. – The Golden Eagles traveled to Fort Wayne, Ind. where they took on the Warriors of Indiana Tech in another WHAC double-header matchup. Game one belonged to the Warriors, who allowed just two hits from Cornerstone, and forced four errors from the Golden Eagles. Indiana Tech took game one 8-0, ending it in the fifth inning. Game two was closer, with Indiana Tech sneaking out with a 4-3 victory to sweep the double header. The Golden Eagles travel to Illinois next week, as they face another double-header to close out the regular season. The game will be played at Tiger Field in Bourbonnais, Ill. at 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. EST.
Game One Recap: Indiana Tech - 8 Cornerstone – 0 (5 Innings)
- Game one began with four runs in the bottom of the first inning from the Warriors.
- Indiana Tech continued the scoring in the second inning, with an RBI on a ground ball.
- Unfortunately for the Golden Eagles, a few nerves came out as Cornerstone had four errors in game one of the day, versus the Warriors of Indiana Tech, to the Warriors one error.
- The Golden Eagles struggled at bat, with just two hits in game one. One hit from Morgan Jenkins, and one hit from Maddy Chatman.
- The Golden Eagles were never able to bring it back in game one, as the Warriors were able to score three more runs in the bottom of the fourth inning.
- The fifth inning ended early, with a lock down defense from the Warriors that finished game one 8-0. The Warriors taking the first game of the day.
Game Two Recap: Indiana Tech - 4 Cornerstone – 3
- The Golden Eagles scored first in game two, on a stolen third base, then a Warrior throwing error that saw Dylan Holmes score on the play. Cornerstone leads 1-0 in the top of the second.
- Two more runs from the Golden Eagles sees their way to the scoreboard in the top of the third inning. Mackenzie Nagelhout scores after a wild pitch from Indiana Tech. Moriah Sprague hits a double that sends Jolie Groeneveld home, putting Cornerstone up 3-0.
- The sixth inning was taken over by the Warriors, as they came back from being down 3-0. A double from the Warriors saw two runs score for Indiana Tech.
- A sacrifice bunt from the Warriors brought the tying run home. Indiana Tech tied the game 3-3 in the bottom of the sixth inning.
- The final run came from the Warriors in the bottom of the sixth inning. Where the pitch was hit for a single, then advanced on an off throw. The winning run was batted in to make the final score of game two 4-3, Indiana Tech.

Jolie Groeneveld led the Golden Eagles with scoring on hits, going 1 for 3 in game two with one run scored.
2-3 –
Maddy Chatman did the best hitting for Cornerstone in game two, as she went 2 for 3 at bat against the Warriors.
5.2 –
Allie Lubben pitched almost the entire game for game two, as she held the Warriors to just 8 hits, striking out Indiana Tech's hitters 2 times in game two.
