Last Week Recap
Women's Volleyball opened their season with a tough tournament down in Parkville, Missouri where they played #RV Saint Ambrose, Wayland Baptist, and #8 Park. The Golden Eagles opened their season on Friday with a 3-0 sweep of Saint Ambrose thanks to a solid balanced attack and a lot of errors from Saint Ambrose. They would then return to action the next morning to take on Wayland Baptist and came away with another 3-0 sweep, thanks to 10 kills from Emmalee Murphy and seven blocks from Kylie Barron. They would later face their toughest opponent in the tournament in host #8 Park. They would come away with an upset victory that snapped Park's 87-match home win streak in a 3-1 victory thanks to a career high 15 kills from freshman Aubrey Johnson. Opening their season 3-0.
