GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – Men's Soccer is back in action and traveling this week with a solo matchup against Concordia. The Golden Eagles are coming off a 1-1 draw against St. Xavier and will be looking to get back to their winning ways this weekend. Cornerstone heads into their first WHAC conference competition of the season with a record of 1-1-1.

Men's Soccer started off against the Saints of St. Francis in a battle that saw the Golden Eagles fall just short in a 2-1 loss. St. Francis took the lead late in this match with a goal in the 87
th minute not leaving any time for Cornerstone to find an equalizer. The Golden Eagles looked to bounce back as they traveled to Chicago for a match against St. Xavier. This time around Cornerstone was able to equalize late with a goal from
Tyler Corstange to earn the Golden Eagles a 1-1 draw. Cornerstone will look to get back in the win column as they head into their first WHAC conference matchup of the season taking on Concordia in Ann Arbor.
Scouting Concordia
Concordia is also in a solo match week facing off against the Golden Eagles and they come into the contest with a 2-4 record on the season. They are coming off a 2-1 loss to Indiana East but will look to turn it around quickly in this all important first WHAC conference matchup of the year. The Golden Eagles will have to be sharp defensively to stop Concordia's Bryce Schaner who already has four goals this season.
