GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – After a quick two-week break, men's soccer is back in action with a two-match week against Illinois schools St. Francis and Saint Xavier. Cornerstone hosts St. Francis on Tuesday, September 3 and will later travel to Saint Xavier on Saturday, September 7 to round out the week of action.

Last Match Recap
It has been over two weeks since the last match action for the Golden Eagles where they opened their season with a 2-0 victory over Saint Francis (Ind.) It was a close game in the first half with neither side having any opportunities. It wasn't until the second half where Grant Roloff and Boston Knapp scored for the Golden Eagles to give them the first win of the season.
 
Scouting St. Francis
St. Francis comes into the matchup against the Golden Eagles with an overall record of 2-1, coming off a loss against Carthage College. Through three matches, the Saints are averaging two goals per game while allowing just under two goals. St. Francis has seen five different goal scorers on the season with Pablo Rubio Guerra leading the way with two on the year.

Saint Xavier comes into the matchup against the Golden Eagles with an 0-3 record to three good opponents.
