Last Week Recap
Golden Eagles opened their week last week with a 3-1 victory over Spring Arbor thanks to an eight total block night from Gabby VerBerkmoes. They would then travel to Indiana to play in a one-day tournament with matchups against Taylor and #20 Mount Vernon. After winning the first set against Taylor, they would respond winning the next two before Cornerstone would force a fifth set. After leading early in the fifth, errors cost them the victory as they would fall in the final set for their first loss of the year. They would later face off against #20 Mount Vernon and struggled in a 3-0 sweep to finish 1-2 on the week.
