GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – Women's Volleyball returns to action with a tough week of matches all on the road. Cornerstone first travels to a hot Lawrence Tech team on Wednesday, October 2 before traveling to Fort Wayne, Indiana for a quick two-day tournament on October 4 and 5 to face off against #8 Indiana Wesleyan, Lindsey Wilson, and #19 Grace to round out the week of play.

Women's Volleyball went 1-1 last week. Their one loss came against #12 Aquinas 3-0 in where they played the Saints tight in the first and third sets but were unable to prevail falling in straight sets. They would then return home to face off against Madonna and came away with a 3-0 sweep behind
Aubrey Johnson's double-double of 13 kills and 15 digs. The Golden Eagles sit at 10-6 (4-3) on the year.
Scouting Lawrence Tech
Lawrence Tech comes into the matchup against the Golden Eagles with an 8-5 (6-1) record as they have won their last three conference matches. The Blue Devils sit tied for second in conference thanks to a great conference start, with their one loss coming against Siena Heights in five sets. Lawrence Tech averages 11.8 kills per-set while hitting at a .198 attack percentage. They are also averaging 15.9 digs and 1.8 blocks per-set to round out their defense. Reigning National Champion and #8 ranked Indiana Wesleyan comes into the matchup against the Golden Eagles with an overall record of 15-2 with a matchup against Goshen to start the week. The Wildcats are fourth in the NAIA at 18.1 points per-set and fourth in the NAIA with an attack percentage of .271. Indiana Wesleyan is currently riding a 12-game win streak behind the reigning NAIA Player of the Year Eva Joldersma (men's basketball player Jack Joldersma's sister) and her 254 kills at a .302 hitting percentage. The Wildcats average 13.6 kills per-set, and 15.2 digs and 2.2 blocks per-set to round out their defense.

Lindsey Wilson comes into the week against the Golden Eagles riding a 10-game win streak as they have an overall record of 15-4. Three of their four losses on the year have come against national ranked opponents. The Blue Raiders average 13.4 kills per-set while hitting .230. They also are averaging 15.5 digs and 1.7 blocks per-set to round out the defense. They are led by Ola Wyrzykowska and Elisa Burzio with 179 and 173 kills apiece while being set by Luiza Gonçalves.

th in the NAIA and 2.5 blocks per-set to round out the defense. They are led by Alisha Voss and her 154 kills while being set by Riley Owens and Morgan Syoen.
