Men's Basketball finished last week 2-0 and added their fifth consecutive victory to move to 14-7 (10-3) on the season. Their first matchup came against Aquinas in the battle of the beltline where they came away with a 78-72 victory.
Blake Stewart led the way in this game with a double-double (16 points, 10 rebounds) as
Luke Rowlinson also posted 18 points in the win. The Golden Eagles bounced back quickly with another strong performance this time in Mol Arena where they thrashed Michigan-Dearborn 111-72.
Luke Rowlinson led the scoring in this contest as well with 24 points shooting 9-15 from the field.
Mason Brooks also chipped in 16 points that was crucial to the Cornerstone win.
Scouting Rochester Christian
Rochester Christian comes into the matchup against the Golden Eagles with an overall record of 15-6 (7-6) averaging 79.6 points per-game. The Warriors are on a smooth three game win streak and will host the Golden Eagles with their strong 8-2 home record. Rochester Christian will need to rely on their top scorer once again Brett White who has averaged 20.4 points per-game if they have any chance at stopping the Golden Eagles this week.
Scouting Madonna
Madonna comes into the matchup against the Golden Eagles with an overall record of 12-9 (8-5) averaging 85.3 points per-game. The Crusaders are led by Brendan Young who has averaged 17.0 points per-game this season. Madonna has managed to take down #RV Indiana Tech and #RV Spring Arbor this season which speaks to their ability to match up well with any opponent they face.
