Last Season Recap
Men's Basketball finished last season with a 22-10 (15-5) record. The Golden Eagles went on to finish third in the WHAC before winning the conference tournament and earning a national bid. Cornerstone matched up against Spring Arbor in the first round of the national tournament and ultimately fell 83-81.
 
A look at the WHAC
Cornerstone is slated to finish fourth in the WHAC according to the preseason poll. Indiana Tech was voted to win the conference with Madonna and Rochester Christian rounding out the top three. 
 
Scouting Indiana Wesleyan
Indiana Wesleyan comes into the tournament as the number six ranked team in the NAIA. IWU opens their season on October 28th against Kuyper College. The Wildcats finished last season with a 22-10 record and earned a national bid. Indiana Wesleyan beat Madonna in the first round but their season came to an end with a second-round loss to Life University. 
 
Scouting Spring Arbor
Spring Arbor will come into the weekend tournament receiving national votes. The Cougars finished last season with a 20-11 record and earned a national bid despite losing in the first round of the Crossroads League tournament. SAU defeated Cornerstone in the first round of the NAIA tournament before losing to the #5 ranked Freed-Hardeman 71-69 in the second round.
