GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – Women's Volleyball returns to action this week with a conference matchup at home. The Golden Eagles host Siena Heights on Friday, October 10th at 7 p.m. in Mol Arena. Cornerstone currently sits at 16-4 (8-2) on the season.

Last Week Recap
The Golden Eagles had two conference matches last week and came away with one win and one loss. Women's Volleyball opened the week with a five-set loss to Madonna in which Aubrey Johnson and Gabby VerBerkmos led the way with 17 and 15 kills as their comeback fell just short. They would then end the week with a 3-0 sweep over Michigan-Dearborn behind seven kills from both Gwyn VerBerkmos and Josilyn Potter, along with 19 assists from Payton Hutchinson.
 
A look at the WHAC
With ten conference matches remaining on the year, this is where the WHAC stands. Aquinas leads the way with a 10-0 record with the Golden Eagles right behind them at 8-2. Madonna and Lawrence Tech round out the top four with records of 7-3 and 6-4.
 
Scouting Siena Heights
Siena Heights comes into the matchup against the Golden Eagles with an overall record of 9-10 (4-6) as they have a matchup against Aquinas to open the week. The Saints have currently won two in a row and will look to grow that streak in this week's matches. Devyne Eisenhauer leads the Saints with 210 kills and Mallory Johnson has tallied 302 assists on the season.
