GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – Women's Volleyball is set to host Walla Walla University for the NAIA National Championship Opening Round on Saturday, November 22nd. The winner of the match on Saturday will advance to Sioux City, Iowa for pool play at the 2025 NAIA Women's Volleyball Championship. Pool play will take place in Iowa on December 3rd-5th with the national champion crowned on December 9th.

The Golden Eagles finished off their run in the WHAC Tournament winning their Quarterfinal match against Defiance 3-0 and defeating Indiana Tech 3-1 in the Semifinals to match up against crosstown rival Aquinas in the final. Cornerstone's run would unfortunately end with a second-place finish as the Saints of Aquinas secured the clean sweep.
Scouting Walla Walla
Cornerstone and Walla Walla will faceoff for the first time on Saturday with the stakes higher than ever. Walla Walla is a part of the Cascade Collegiate Conference where they finished seventh in the regular season with a record of 14-2 (10-10). The Wolves earned a play-in game for the conference tournament where they defeated receiving votes Southern Oregon. They then went on to take down #16 The College of Idaho 3-2. The Wolves run would end in the Semifinals as they fell to #1 Eastern Oregon 3-2. Walla Walla's attack is led by Sahara Browning who has 443 kills on the season, averaging 4.52 kills per set.
