Men's Basketball went to battle last week with Indiana Wesleyan and Spring Arbor to kick off their 2025-26 season with both games decided by only four points. In the first game the Golden Eagles were defeated 78-74 against #6 Indiana Wesleyan. In game two Cornerstone picked up their first win of the season over #RV Spring Arbor in a close 75-71 battle.
Kayden Bird led the scoring with 34 points across both contests for the Golden Eagles.
Scouting Olivet Nazarene
The Tigers enter the contest with a record of 2-1 with wins coming against Moody Bible and Marion University. Olivet Nazarene is led by Eli Edwards who is averaging 25 points per game so far this season. The Tigers look to be on pace to make this a great matchup inside Mol Arena against the Golden Eagles this weekend.
