Hillsdale, Mich. – Track and Field highlighted their two day trip to the Hillsdale Mid-Week Multi with a dominant performance by Liam McHugh in the Men's Heptathlon competition where he totaled a combined score of 4843 points. The 4843 points scored by Liam McHugh in this competition is the third most in program history and will likely qualify him for the NAIA National Championships! Liam McHugh took first in three of the seven Heptathlon competitions, while Bridget McHugh took first place in the Women's Pentathlon High Jump with a jump height of 1.64m! The Men's team took second place out of three teams with 10 points, while the Women's team took third place overall out of four teams with nine. Tomorrow the Golden Eagles will be competing in the GVSU Holiday Open just across the city in Allendale, Mich. at Grand Valley State University.
