Track and Field sees eight more Outdoor WHAC Champions

ADRIAN, Mich. – Men's and Women's Track and Field competed in the outdoor WHAC Championship and saw another impressive weekend of competition. The Golden Eagles saw eight WHAC Champions along with six runner ups leading to an eventual second place finish for the women and third place finish for the men. Along with that, the Golden Eagles saw six auto qualifiers and two new school records, one from Patrick Adams in the 400m hurdles and the other by the 4x800m relay squad of Payton Hosley, Ronnie McMillan, Jacie Remtema, and Emma Steele.
 
Up next for the Golden Eagles they will compete in the Last Chance Week all over the state of Michigan this week as they look to gear up for the NAIA Outdoor National Championship at Indiana Wesleyan May 21-23.

First Team All-Conference:

WHAC Champion of Character
The WHAC Champions of Character award is given to one player from each team and is selected by each coaching staff. Stephen Weflen and Rachel Collins was selected as Cornerstone's representative to the WHAC Champions of Character team by the CU staff for best representing the five NAIA core character traits of respect, responsibility, integrity, sportsmanship, and servant leadership.
 
WHAC All-Academic Team
Track and Field saw multiples athletes earn WHAC All-Academic honors for the 2025 season. This award is given to any athlete who has been on the roster for a year or more as well as a sophomore and above in academic class standing with a GPA of 3.25 or higher.
