Madeline Billings scored twice on the day with

First Half:
- Madeline Billings used her speed early to find a quick shot, but it sailed just high as the Golden Eagles came out on the front foot.
- Joslyn McGlassion found her way to a one on one with the keeper, but her shot was just saved by Goshen.
- Both teams looked to take advantage of corner kicks in the 20th minute but neither found any joy.
- Madeline Billings continued to find shots for the Golden Eagles, but the match remained scoreless in the 30th minute.
- Cornerstone closed the half with multiple corner kicks, yet it was a deadlock at the halftime whistle.
Second Half:
- The second half started quickly with back-to-back corner kicks for the Golden Eagles as they inched closer to the breakthrough.
- The masterpiece game continued for Madeline Billings as she finished Cornerstones first goal of the season thanks to a beautiful back post pass from Tori Woodwyk which gave CU the lead at the 60th minute mark.
- Cornerstone pushed for the second with three more shots causing chaos in the Goshen box, but the game remained at 1-0.
- Madeline Billings finished yet another chance in front of goal securing Cornerstone with the 2-0 lead.
- Cornerstone continued to control the ball well in the half with only ten minutes remaining to bring home their first victory of the season.
- Brooke Harmsen got in the referee's book but not in the way you would like with a yellow card in the 80th minute.
- Emily Ake found her way up with possession that she turned into a worldie finish in the top right corner to put the stamp on a 3-0 Cornerstone win.
