GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – Men's Soccer returns to action with a two-match week in Grand Rapids. The Golden Eagles open their week at home against Rochester Christian at 4 p.m. The team will continue the week at home with a Senior Night and "Night of Nets" matchup against the #13 team in the country, Indiana Tech.

Last Week Recap
The Golden Eagles got the conference win against Defiance College just before fall break. The first half was quiet for both teams before Lake Vander Ploeg scored the equalizer late in the half. Isaac Kwantes tallied a second assist in the match as his long ball from the right side of the field found the volley of Jack VanEyk who laced it home, giving Cornerstone the much needed win over the Yellow Jackets.

Scouting Rochester
Rochester Christian comes into the match 1-8-1 overall and 0-5-1 in conference play. The Warriors of Rochester Christian had a tough week last week, as they took a big loss to Northwestern Ohio 8-0 in Lima, Ohio. The Warriors lone tie of the season came against Defiance College on September 19, that game ended 3-3.

Scouting Indiana Tech
Indiana Tech comes into the matchup against the Golden Eagles as the #13 ranked team in the NAIA. The Warriors are 10-2-2 overall, their only losses coming from Dalton State and Lawrence Tech. Indiana Tech have had success against other top teams, with wins over #13 Bethel, #18 Lindsey Wilson, and #RV Grace College. The Warriors currently sit at fourth in the WHAC, just behind the 4-1 Aquinas College.
