ASHEVILLE, N.C. – Women's Track and Field had a quieter day for day two of the Outdoor National Championships. Despite the weather delays from the previous day continuing into day two, Kylie Sailor was finally able to compete in the 3000M Steeplechase. Sailor finished with a time of 11:31.42, taking 18th in the event in a field of 20 athletes.
Katelynn Dix, after taking ninth in the 400M Hurdles the day prior, took part in the 100M Hurdles Preliminaries on day two. She finished 20th out of the 29 athletes who competed with a time of 14.21, but did not move forward to the finals for the event.
The final competition for the Women's team was the shot put, where Chloe May stepped up for the Golden Eagles. On her final attempt in Flight One, Chloe broke the school record and her own personal record in the shot put with a throw of 14.15M. This mark put her in 9th place, which sent her to the finals. She would finish the day after the finals still in the 9th spot.
Track and Field will finish out the 2025-26 season with the final day of the NAIA Outdoor National Championships. Events will resume on May 22, 2026 in Asheville, North Carolina at the Karl Straus Track.
