GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – The Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference has released the preseason poll for the 2026 Women's Volleyball season, and the Golden Eagles have been selected to finish second in the conference, earning 89 points with one first place vote. Aquinas is tabbed to finish first as they received 98 points and 8 first place votes coming off a WHAC regular season championship with Indiana Tech in third with 81 points while Lawrence Tech rounds out the top four with 60 points.

Cornerstone finished second in the conference last year with an overall record of 27-9 (16-4) where they finished second in the conference tournament. Earning a bid to the NAIA National Championship Tournament. The Golden Eagles hosted Walla Walla in the opening round, beating them in five sets sending them to Sioux City, Iowa where their season would come to an end losing their two pool play games.
Women's Volleyball opens their season on Friday, August 21st with games against #RV Taylor University and Loyola University at the Onset Tournament.
