GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – The Cornerstone volleyball team finished off a perfect week and extended their winning streak to six as they downed visiting UM-Dearborn 25-4, 25-15, 26-24 on Saturday afternoon. The win lifts the Golden Eagles to 16-7 overall and 7-1 in the WHAC as they will host Concordia next Wednesday at 7 p.m.

Leading 7-3 in the first set, Cornerstone put on a show to close out the Wolverines with an 18-1 run to win 25-4. CU held the visitors to a measly -.194 hitting percentage while collecting 12 kills themselves, five from
Heather Green.
Cornerstone then opened the second set with an 8-0 run on their way to a 25-15 victory in which they hit .417 compared to .067 from Dearborn.
The Wolverines made things close in the thrd and held a 24-23 lead late forcing coach
Ryan Campbell into a timeout but three straight points from the Golden Eagles gave them a 3-0 sweep.
