GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. –
Kevin Nimmo scored a goal just 51 seconds into Saturday night's WHAC matchup with Siena Heights and it turned out to be the lone goal of the night as CU won 1-0 over the Saints. The victory improves the Golden Eagles' overall record to 8-4-2 while they are now 4-1-2 in league action. Cornerstone will head to Lourdes (Ohio) on Wednesday for a 4 p.m. kick vs. the Gray Wolves.

Cornerstone pushed ahead early and often in the opening minute and after a
Kyle Doornbos throw in,
Kevin Nimmo made one touch and beat the keeper low left side to put CU up 1-0. The Golden Eagles had a couple more solid chances in the opening 45 but were unable to add to their lead.
Siena Heights then came out in the second and created some chances but were unable to get one by CU keeper
Dary DeWalt.
