GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – Head coach
Ryan Campbell guided his Golden Eagles to their 16
th straight win overall and No. 200 for his career as CU downed visiting Lawrence Tech in straight sets. The victory lifts Cornerstone to 26-7 overall and 12-1 in the WHAC as they will host No. 9 Lourdes on Wednesday.

It was a struggle for both teams on offense throughout the match but Cornerstone had a little more in each of the three sets, especially late. Leading 15-14 midway through the opening set, the Golden Eagles went on a 7-2 run to open a 22-16 in which they went on to win 25-20.
Set two was close until the final 10 points as well with CU scoring 11 of the final 17 points after being tied 14-14. Set three saw the Blue Devils jump out to a 4-1 lead but the Golden Eagles responded and pulled away late for a 25-21 win.

Cornerstone will host No. 9 ranked Lourdes (Ohio) on Wednesday with a shot at tying the Gray Wolves in conference play. LU handed Cornerstone their only league loss earlier this season.
