DEARBORN, Mich. – Cornerstone scored three goals in the first 17 minutes of the game and cruised to a 3-0 victory over University of Michigan at Dearborn this afternoon. The Golden Eagles are currently 11-5-2 and 7-2-2 in the WHAC and are in third place entering the WHAC Tournament which starts Friday, November 4. Details on the tourney will be announced later.

The Golden Eagles got off to a quick start today as they scored just 7:36 into the game on a goal by
Kyle Doornbos. Cornerstone made it 2-0 in the 10' when
Garrett Nimmo scored his first goal of the season on a
Allyn Anthony assist.
The Golden Eagles went up 3-0 in the 17th minute on an own goal by UM-Dearborn. That score remained 3-0 through the remainder of the game and the Golden Eagles secured a spot to host a WHAC Quarterfinal.
