FORT WAYNE, Ind. – After falling in the opening set 25-19, the Golden Eagles pulled out 2-point wins in each of the next three including a 32-30 victory in the fourth to post a 3-1 win at Indiana Tech. The victory lifts Cornerstone to 10-6 on the year and 4-0 in the WHAC as they will travel to No. 11 Lourdes on Wednesday.

Indiana Tech played a flawless first set as they took control of the match with a 25-19 win. The next three sets were back and forth with the Golden Eagles winning by the slimmest of margins in each. The Warriors looked like they would go up 2-0 but after trailing 23-21, the Golden Eagles came through with eight of the final 12 points to win 29-27.
Then CU took charge for a majority of the third set but saw a late lead dwindle only to come back and win 28-26. Then after leading 21-17 in the fourth, Cornerstone was not able to close out the Warriors and had to eventually fight off five set points before three consecutive points gave them a 32-30 win.
