GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – Cornerstone faced off against Lourdes on Wednesday evening in a crucial battle over conference positioning.
Sebastian Ramos, who scored the lone goal against Siena Heights on Saturday, buried the only goal on a penalty kick to give Cornerstone the victory. The Golden Eagles improve to 3-7-3 overall, and 9
th place in the WHAC with a 2-4-2 record. CU will continue conference play against a tough WHAC opponent in UNOH on Saturday at 7:00 p.m.

Sebastian Ramos entered the match. Two minutes later he was called upon to take a penalty kick after
Brennan Joseph was tripped up in the box. Ramos buried it in the left side of the net to give CU a 1-0 lead with 20 minutes to go. Lourdes nearly evened up the score with 13 minutes remaining, but
Dary DeWalt made a pair of saves to maintain the 1-0 advantage, and ultimately the victory.
