SOUTHFIELD, Mich. –
Madison Herrema posted 18 kills while
Kendra Zwart finished off her big week with 14 terminations as the No. 18 ranked Cornerstone Volleyball team picked up a critical 4-set set win over Lawrence Tech. The victory is the ninth in a row for CU as they are now 22-6 overall and 11-1 in the WHAC. Cornerstone will play another tough road match next when they travel to Lourdes on Wednesday, October 25.

Coming off a big home win over rival Aquinas, the Golden Eagles took to the road for a tough matchup at Lawrence Tech. CU fired on all cylinders on the offensive side of the net in the first two sets as they built a 2-0 lead thanks to 25-20 and 25-15 wins.
The Blue Devils, who are second place in the East Divison of the WHAC, fought back to take the third set 25-19 but the Golden Eagles were too much, especially behind the offensive attack of
Madison Herrema and
Kendra Zwart as the two combined for 32 kills.
