James Pipe scored twice to give the Golden Eagles a 2-1 victory over UM-Dearborn on Friday night. The win keeps postseason hopes alive for CU, as they'll need a loss or a tie from either Siena Heights or Concordia on Saturday to make it into the WHAC Tournament. The win brings their record to 5-8-3 overall, 4-5-2 in the WHAC.

James Pipe found the back of the net in the 25
th minute to put his team up 1-0 at halftime. Pipe extended the lead to 2-0 after he finished a loose ball in the box in the 64
th minute. That goal would prove to be important, as the Wolverines scored with a few minutes remaining in regulation, but failed to overcome the deficit.

For Cornerstone to advance to the eight team WHAC Tournament, either Concordia or Siena Heights must lose or tie in their respective matches on Saturday afternoon. Concordia plays at Lourdes, while Siena Heights plays at Northwestern Ohio.
