GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – James Pipe scored twice to give the Golden Eagles a 2-1 victory over UM-Dearborn on Friday night. The win keeps postseason hopes alive for CU, as they'll need a loss or a tie from either Siena Heights or Concordia on Saturday to make it into the WHAC Tournament. The win brings their record to 5-8-3 overall, 4-5-2 in the WHAC.

Game Flow
Cornerstone outshot UM-Dearborn 12-3 in the first half, in addition to tallying six corner kicks. James Pipe found the back of the net in the 25^th minute to put his team up 1-0 at halftime. Pipe extended the lead to 2-0 after he finished a loose ball in the box in the 64^th minute. That goal would prove to be important, as the Wolverines scored with a few minutes remaining in regulation, but failed to overcome the deficit.
