Match Flow…

The opening set saw the Saints put together a couple of late spurts (3-0 and 3-2) to close out the Golden Eagles 25-22. The second set saw Cornerstone come out strong and hold a 13-6 lead but the Saints rallied to score 12 of the next 14 points to hold an 18-15 lead. CU would come back strong from that run led by Heather Carlson as the Golden Eagles outlasted the Saints 25-23.

Set three was a back and forth affair but it looked as if the visiting Saints would close out the Golden Eagles as they held a 23-21 only to see CU score the final four points including a roll over kick from Jackie Stanko to finish off the comeback.
