GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – The five seniors for the Cornerstone Volleyball team finished off their final match at home in style as they posted a sweep of the visiting Concordia Cardinals on Wednesday night. The 25-15, 25-16, 25-18 win lifts the No. 18 ranked Golden Eagles to 25-6 on the year and 14-1 in the WHAC as they will return to action in the WHAC Tournament next Friday at Madonna. CU will be in the semifinals as the No. 2 seed.

Seniors took over the match from the beginning as
Heather Carlson and
Ellie Van Laar provided the offense (25 kills),
Hope Leppink set them up (36 assists) while
Maria Ma (two service aces) and
Abby Carlson (three digs) each provided some quality depth in the 3-set win.
The Golden Eagles trailed 3-2 in the opening set but not again until halfway through the third but it was all Cornerstone on Wednesday night. CU limited the Cardinals' offense to just 24 kills while holding them to a .065 hitting percentage.
