ANN ARBOR, Mich. – The No. 18 ranked Cornerstone Volleyball team cruised to a 3-set win at Concordia on Wednesday night to finish play before fall break this weekend. The Golden Eagles are now 15-6 overall and 8-1 in league action as they will be back on the court next Wednesday at Rochester College.

Cornerstone returned to the court that saw them clinch their first league title since 2004 and they made it a quick trip to Ann Arbor as they defeated the host Cardinals 25-17, 25-10, 25-7.
 
CU jumped out to a quick 7-3 lead in the opener on a block by Kendra Zwart and kept the foot on the gas, eventually leading by as many as six after an ace from Kenzie Engelsma.
 
The second and third sets were dominated by the visiting team as the Cardinals scored as many points in those two as they did in the entire first set.

• CU had 44 kills compared to just 24 from the Cardinals
• Cornerstone's defense had 46 digs and 12.0 blocks
• Hope Leppink led the way with 36 assists
• Kendra Zwart gad 14 kills on just 19 attempts

Cornerstone will have the weekend off before resuming play next Wednesday at league newcomer Rochester in a 7 p.m. match.
