Senior night closes out 2017 home slate for No. 18 Volleyball

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – The No. 18 ranked Volleyball team enters their final home match of the year looking to complete their second straight undefeated season inside Mol Arena. The Golden Eagles will celebrate senior night as they welcome in Concordia for a 7 p.m. start time. Aaron Sagraves will have the call live on the CSPN.

SCOUTING CONCORDIA
The Cardinals, under Associate Head coach Danielle Cook, enter the week with a tough 3-25 overall record  while they are just 1-13 in WHAC action. CUAA has lost its nine matches after falling in five sets on senior night Saturday against Rochester. The contest on Wednesday will be their last match of the campaign and they have been led by Alisha Anderson who is the team leader in kills and aces. Hailey McCourt runs the offense but is averaging just 4.3 assists per set while Danae Tolu is tops with 350 digs this season.

Hope Leppink is posting her best season in a Golden Eagle uniform as the senior ranks No. 3 in the country in Assists/Set (11.3) and No. 5 in Total Assists. Kendra Zwart is No. 5 in Total Blocks and No. 13 in Total Kills.
 
Leppink Surpasses 5,000 assists
Senior Hope Leppink recently became the second player in school history to surpass 5,000 career assists. She join Marcy Blacquire as the only Golden Eagles to do that.
